PIHMA Clinic

Our community clinic provides Traditional Chinese Medicine which includes acupuncture, herbs, bodywork, nutritional counseling and energy work. A trained student intern will work with a professionally Licensed Acupuncturist (L.Ac.) to determine the best form of treatment for each patient. Acupuncture is used in most treatment plans in conjunction with other TCM therapies to return balance in the body.

“Integrative medicine practitioners from conventional medicine often work in collaboration with CAM practitioners. It is vitally important for all practitioners to know when to work in teams, when to refer and how to work collaboratively. Knowing about, being able to work with, and understanding the value of the various licensed systems of treatment for the well being of our patients is essential to 21st century health care.”
